Gratitude: Part II

This is actually a re-post of my second ever blog post, from back in June. I posted the original after another particularly tough Saturday, mentally. Had a day like that yesterday too. Thanks to all who read and helped me regain some much needed perspective. Really appreciate the support and kind words yesterday. I’ll certainly pay it forward. After all the good vibes from y’all yesterday afternoon, a great night with my family, and an even better morning with my wife, today seems brighter. And with my ship righted and an improved view of my world, counting my blessings comes naturally today. So, as I said in the original post, I love Sundays!

My songs of the day are:

“Thank You” by Sly and The Family Stone

“Gratitude” by Paul McCartney

“What A Wonderful World” by Loius Armstrong

  5. My favorite cup is a different design, but also says “Dad” on it. My son bought it for me one day out of the blue with his own money. I was pretty stunned, to be honest. (He hasn’t bought me anything else in the years since, though.) πŸ™‚

  6. Awesome song choices πŸ™‚

Glad your week improved after your particularly trying day. You have such a great perspective; it’s really nice to see. You may have a bad day but you always are thankful and positive. Good karma for you.
