This challenge by  Cee’s Photography  is to come up with lines and angles.  The image can be black and white, sepia, or you can use a selective color.  Here’s my take on it:

Rusty boat, Ocracoke Island, NC:

CJ’s barn, Long Beach, MS:

Life line, Cape Hatteras Light Station, Outer Banks, NC:

Laugh lines, St George Island, FL:

  5. These are all wonderful choices for lines and angles. I like the big ship’s rope of your first photo.

  6. Love Cape Hatteras light house. I’ll never walked to the top of it again in July though. Great pictures.

    • Yeah, it’s a bit muggy in there! If ever in the area again, you now climb Bodie Island lighthouse. It’s my personal favorite and the setting is amazing. About 20 miles north of Hatteras. Currituck is great too, but it’s a bit of a haul north, almost to Virginia line, from Bodie Island. Worth the time though.

      • I love the OBX, been there four times but not anytime in the last five years. I’ve been up Currituck every time and only made the long drive to Hatteras once. That’s great that Bodie is open now I like to stay in Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills. Although I wouldn’t mind staying in Ocracoke at least once just to be away from the hustle and bustle.

      • Funny you mention Ocracoke. That’s our place of choice. We go at least 2 weeks a year, at separate times. Some years more. It’s where we hope to retire…as soon as possible. It’s vastly different than the upper OBX. The whole 13 miles of beach is undeveloped. Nothing on the beach at all. We’ve nude beached out there, in the middle of on-season even, because there’s nobody anywhere near. We love the it more than anywhere we’ve ever been. Anywhere.
