Cry On The Shoulder

Missing a friend today.  He was one of a kind and has been missed dearly, since June 24, 2009.  Tim Krekel was an uber-talented musician, funny as hell, with a sharp wit, and a kind and giving spirit.  He was actually a good friend of my uncle, but I knew him most of my life too.  He was a local, and made a name for himself in music, but he never let any measure of success change who he was at heart.  Above all, he was a friend.  Hard to fathom that 7 years have passed.

You are missed, Mr. Krekel 😔

If you aren’t familiar with him, check him out.  You won’t regret it.

Here are a couple of my favorites, and I’m sure you’ll find a couple too:

“All Night Radio” by Tim Krekel and The Groovebilly’s

“Sunshine Baby” by Tim Krekel

“Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” by Tim Krekel and The Groovebilly’s

“Blues As Blues Can Get” by Tim Krekel

“Wilson Pickett” by Tim Krekel Orchestra

“Angel’s Share” by Tim Krekel

“Here Ever After” by Tim Krekel and The Groovebilly’s

“Underground” by Tim Krekel and The Groovebilly’s
