This is the first installment of the 52Weeks Photo Challenge from thegirlthatdreamsawake.  Hers is a new site to me, but I’m happy to become acquainted.  I really enjoy participating in these challenges, and this one seems as though it will be just that.

The topic for Week 1 is:

BLACK AND WHITE

Since school is back in session today, and Summer is officially done, and I’m missin’ Ocracoke and the OBX something fierce, here’s my take on it:

Our favorite watering hole:

Passin’ on’ the time on the 2 1/2 hour ferry ride to the island:

  9. Beautiful shots. I’m ready for shrimp and scallop kabobs, but I’m super allergic to scallops…so don’t let me near them. I might beg, and you might have to slap them out of my hand, but nope, no scallops for me!
