This is Week 2 of the 52 Weeks Photo Challenge from The Girl That Dreams Awake. The topic for this week is:
FOOD
Now, I’m no foodie, and I don’t generally snap pics of what’s on my plate, but I’ll give it a go.
Here’s my take on it:
An actual banana hammock:
Remnants of a Gulf Coast cookout:
A couple of our little food producers:
Rules are meant to be broken:
Fresh shrimp? Yes, please!:
My my songs of the day are:
“Bread and Water” by Ryan Bingham
“Tangerine” by Led Zeppelin
“Dead Shrimp Blues” by Robert Johnson
“Egg Man” by The Beastie Boys
“RC Cola and a Moon Pie” by NRBQ
“Oysters” by Tori Amos
“Banana Pancakes” by Jack Johnson
“Glass Onion” by The Beatles

That’d be an odd request. “Hey, Sandra, can you write a poem about a banana hammock?” That’s not something you hear everyday. 😀

Well. I was already laughing at the banana hammock. And I’ve never written a poem about fruit before. 😋 Okay, okay. I know… not the fruit kind. I’ll get right on it. The poem, I mean. Not the banana hammock.
