Time again for another round of Share Your World questions from Cee’s Photography.

Here are Cee’s questions for this week:

What is your favorite comfort snack food?

Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia.

My only beef with it?  It should be sold in 5-gallon bucket size.

Is the paper money in your possession right now organized sequentially according to denomination and with the bills right side up and facing the same way?

Ask anyone who knows me, and they’d tell you I’m not OCD about much of anything.  However, in reality, there are two things I’m fairly particular about: how my grass is mowed is one.  And having money in my wallet organized is the other.  I don’t care if it’s facing the same way, but I am careful to keep denominations in order, from smallest to largest.  Having three kids though, money certainly doesn’t grow cobwebs in my wallet.

If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?

Well, depends on the day.  Most days, the boys are doing homework, reading, outside being banshees, or messing around on their devices and my wife and I are doing some sorta project, either to the house, the yard, or in our studio.  If the weather is nice, the mouse would have to look outside to see what we were doing.  In the dead of miserable Winter?  The mouse would likely see us huddled under blankets in multiple layers with something on the tube and a roaring fire going.  This 114-year old farmhouse tends to be a bit drafty (understatement of the year), no matter how much we’ve insulated or renovated.  And we’ve done a bunch of both.

God, I HATE Winter!  😕

Would you rather not be able to read or not be able to speak?

I’d be fine not being able to speak.  I try to speak as little as possible as it is.  Wouldn’t be a big departure.

Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m grateful to still be alive, as I had the head cold from hell, knocking me on my arse for a few days.   It’s amazing to me, that within a week of school starting, my little germ magnets brought home the funk.  School is the world’s biggest petri dish, evidently.

As for what I’m looking forward to in the coming week?  Feeling human again, being able to taste food again, and not being a Neanderthalish mouth breather.  😃

  1. Head colds are a real pain.

  2. Loved all of your answers! We had two sources of heat in my Victorian childhood home: a fireplace and a built in propane space heater. Us girls always had a waffle shaped heat rash on our legs from standing too close to the heater!

  3. OK, if Ben & Jerry’s came in bigger containers…we’d still eat it all in one sitting. So really they’re looking out for us.

That said, I’m sure it can be acquired in larger tubs – because they scoop it at the store! I bet if you found a store location and talked to a manager, you could find a way….
