This edition of the One Word Photo Challenge from Jennifer Nichole Wells Photography is for the topic:

Any number of routes to go with this challenge, but I’ll go with the literal, and try to highlight contrasting colors for this one.

Here’s my take on it:

Warm orange, cool blue:

Warm yellow (tan), cool blue:

Warm yellow, cool green:

Warm yellow, cool blue:

And both warm yellow and orange, cool blue:

My songs of the day are:

“Greens And Blues” by The Pixies

“Blue” by Lucinda Williams

“Old Yellow Moon” by Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell

“Bullet The Blue Sky” by U2

“Orange Crush” by R.E.M.

“Behind Blue Eyes” by The Who

“Green Aphrodisiac” by Corinne Bailey Rae

“Mellow Yellow” by Donovan

  2. Green is my best colour so I love the fish plus it looks very creative with the bottle covers that it’s made from.

      • Thanks…I hope to get people talking. I not a big fan of conspiracy theories but it troubles me that so much of our media fits the descriptions I’ve read of disinformation outlets. I don’t know how else to explain the sudden daily appearance on Twitter of thousand of lies, the majority of them about Hillary Clinton.

Nor can I explain how those lies become mainstream news long after they’ve been exposed.

I think the goal is to create a perception of false moral equivalency
        between Trump and Clinton.

Because the thing is this: When I source check a scandal meme about Donald Trump almost all of them check out. When I source check a similar one about Clinton it’s almost always a lie or a half truth.

        Where is it coming from?

        It doesn’t matter.

I ‘looks’ like that a bunch of powerful people somewhere have decided to subvert our system of government by subverting the media.

And we would be silly not to explore it because it’s a ‘conspiracy’…

They do exist or we wouldn’t have a word for them…:)

  6. Nice song choices too. I can’t get Bullet the Blue Sky out of my head now. I first heard it on a trailer for a movie called The Kingdom.
