    • I’ve always heard that the poisonous ones are more venomous as young ones. This guy is a Rat Snake so he’s not venomous. We like them around as they help control the field mice population. 😃

    • We get em frequently. Not a venomous variety, just a Rat snake. They get to stay because they help limit field mice. 😃

      • I’ve never heard of a Rat snake, I guess that’s a good thing then … if you know the difference. 🙂

      • We only have five venomous varieties native to Kentucky. I’ve only seen two out here in 17 years. We see most Garden snakes, Rat snakes, and Cow snakes. Those get really, really big, but not venomous. Not a big fan of any of them, but I don’t kill the non-venomous ones. And we’ve had a few in the house even over the years. 😃

      • You’re lucky they’re not venomous. Here in Australia we have the nasty and venomous varieties unfortunately. Brown snakes, tiger snakes, lots of deadly ones … fortunately we’ve only ever seen two brown snakes around our house in the 20 years we’ve been here. That was enough for me. 😦

      • Yeah, I don’t like that kind at all! Y’all have lots of things that can kill you down there! 😃

  5. Is that an old Range Rover or a Wagoneer? Cool!
