This edition of the 52 Weeks Photo Challenge from The Girl That Dreams Awake is for the topic:

WINTER

Even though Winter is my nemesis, I’ll take part anyway.  Here’s my take on it:

Frosty morning on the farm:

    • Thanks, Robert. What’s the pulse of things there? I’d imagine it’s fairly intense?

      • Some people in California’s business community are pushing for Secession.

They’re right when they point out that the richest and most productive areas of the nation also happen to be Blue States and that a huge chunk of our tax dollars go to the support of people who live in Red States. Why pay for the support of people who hate us and the way we understand our Democracy.

It’s a compelling argument, a State seceding from the Union to be free of GOP racism and economic apartheid.

      • I’ve read a bit about that. I’ve also read about dire predictions of a recession headed our way. It’s an interesting time in history right now.

      • Yes…I don’t think it will be a recession that affects everyone. But I think it will hurt alot of people, it will probably hurt those who voted for Trump the worst.

My concern is that there is no reason for the people of the rest of the World to trust us or even respect us as a nation. Our credibility is all we’ve ever had and Obama worked hard to restore it after the disaster we call the Bush years.

In fact, because of this vote for Trump and our fundamental commitment to human rights, the U.S. perceived as a threat to the survival of the planet.

      • Can’t disagree with any of that. Yeah, foreign policy is gonna be a BIG concern with this loose cannon. Should be a pool in Vegas to see which country he pisses off first.
