This week’s 52 Weeks Photo Challenge from The Girl That Dreams Awake is for the topic:

PEACEFUL

Here’s my take on it:

Sunrise over powdered-sugar sand?  I’m at peace:

A Spring Sunday on the porch?  Found my peace:

Is it odd that I find cemeteries peaceful?:

That feeling I get right before we’re about to travel?  Never more at peace:

Ocracoke?  Yeah, it’s as peaceful as you can get:

My songs of the day are:

“Queen of Peace” by Florence + The Machine

“Peaceful Valley Boulevard” by Neil Young

“Peace Train” by Cat Stevens

“Peace Sword (Open Your Heart)” by The Flaming Lips

“Peace On Earth” by U2

“World Peace Is None of Your Business” by Morrissey

“Peaceful Easy Feeling” by The Eagles

“(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding” by Elvis Costello

  4. A Spring Sunday on the Porch, so relaxing. I really wish I had a porch like that.

  5. These are wonderful! And I too find cemeteries peaceful. Seems like maybe that’s not so uncommon as you’d think. Or else a whole lot of your followers (myself included) have a morbid streak! 😀
