Time for this week’s Share Your World from Cee’s Photography.

Here are Cee’s questions for this week:

This week our questions come from a series of questions that Netdancer’s swakopmund-hotel-room-bath-toiletriesMusings answered on her post “Getting to Know Me – 50 Questions”. I grabbed a few of them since they are questions that are fairly quick to answer.

Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?

Well, we live in a 115-year old farmhouse, so, as one could imagine, closets are not plentiful here.  But, what closets we do have are generally closed.

Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?

Not usually.  We usually travel with our own stuff, and we generally rent houses on trips, so we’re only in hotels for a couple hours of sleep during the drive or when catching a morning flight.  Quick in, quick out.

What is your usual bedtime?

I’m a nightowl by nature, so it’s never before 11:00.  Unfortunately, having a job with a 7:30 start time, and an hour commute in, I have to leave home by 6:30.  Not exactly conducive to staying up as late as my body’s clock wants to.

Do you like to use post-it notes?

No.

When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper?

It’s been a long time, other than invites, Christmas, thank you, or birthday cards, or RSVP’s.  No idea how long, but it’s been years sent I actually hand-wrote a letter I’d guess.

Any phobias?

I.  Hate.  Dolls!

Not a big fan of spiders, or snakes, either, but unless they’re crawling on me, it’s live and let live where they’re concerned.

How tall are you?

6’1″

Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

From last week, I’m grateful for continued warmer temps and a very mild winter thus far.  Thank God!

In the coming week, I’m looking forward to an end to the continued incessant rain that has accompanied the aforementioned warmer temps.  I’m pretty sure this was my answer last week as well, but prior to yesterday, we’d had 12 straight days with rain, often times heavy amounts.  On the off chance we’ve actually seen the sun in that time, it’s been cause for celebration, like if you’d seen a unicorn or found a pot of gold.  Of course, that pot of gold is supposedly at the end of a rainbow, which generally requires sun, sooooo……

My songs of the day are:

“Please Read The Letter” by Robert Plant and Allison Krauss

“This Note’s For For You” by Neil Young

“Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain” by Willie Nelson

“Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?” by Chicago

“Hotel California” by The Eagles

“A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” by Bob Dylan

“Your Letter” by Joan Armatrading

“Paper Dolls” by Corinne Bailey Rae

  1. I buy packs of post it notes at Costco! My computer monitor is covered with them. Lol! Writer vs. photographer!

  2. Old farmhouses have a lot of charm, but no closet space to speak of. Night owl here, too. Most jobs interfere with that lifestyle! LOL Your weather sounds like ours, but I’ll take rain over snow any day. We’re supposed to see the sun tomorrow! I’ll be sure to get a photo of it for you! 😉

  3. The hubs has a post-it note addiction. We have more stuck around the house than we have tiles in the wall…
