This week’s A Photo A Week Challenge from Nancy Merrill Photography is for the topic:

SPRING

Here’s my take on it:

Spring, in my part of the world, brings severe thunderstorms:

Which sprout the daffodils first:

And flood my creek…and bridge:

But, they feed our garden:

And, usually, lead into a beautiful day on the first Saturday in May:

My songs of the day are:

“Wicked Garden” by Stone Temple Pilots

“Shelter From The Storm” by Bob Dylan

“Jockey Full of Bourbon” by Tom Waits

“Daffodils” by Mark Ronson

“Couldn’t Stand The Weather” by Stevie Ray Vaughan

“Octopus’s Garden” by The Beatles

“Stormy Weather” by Lena Horne

“Down In The Flood” by The Derek Trucks Band

  3. We’ve been experiencing a wetter-than-usual spring for Utah (we are supposed to be a desert, after all), but it should lead to a very green spring and summer. Great photos and playlist! Thanks for joining the challenge!

  4. Ah, nice taste of spring! The rain we had today washed away the last of the snow! Woot!
