  2. So this will totally cancel out the lack of artistry in the ‘pink’ post today! Lol! The falls are gorgeous!

    • Aren’t they cool? The pics don’t do them justice. I love Pisgah for that very reason: land of waterfalls. 😃

      • That’s my favorite kind of hiking too! I sought out all the falls in the Smokies! 😃

      • We actually came home via the Blue Ridge. Came into Pisgah at Brevard then up the mountain to the Parkway. Ends at Great Smokey Mountain NP. And Gatlinburg. And ungodly traffic. And a stiff reminder of one’s return to civilization. After four days of being isolated and the only ones on a trail and having waterfalls to play in and around, I wanted to turn back around. Love it in Pisgah. So many trails, and so many places to be completely alone. It’s fantastic. And the drive on the Parkway is as scenic as they come.

      • Yeah that traffic is pretty crappy… We were in Gatlinburg last May – wonder how it looks now after all those fires?

      • Not much different, for the most part. Gatlinburg wasn’t really the issue, traffic wise. Pigeon Forge is where the clusterfuck began…as usual. 😃
