This week’s 52 Weeks Photo Challenge from That Girl That Dreams Awake is for the topic:

Here’s my take on it:

Rainy morning on the lake:

Raining across the Sound:

Too much rain and our bridge disappears:

Dad doesn’t sweat the rain.  He’s sure not gonna melt:

Obscured by rain:

My songs of the day are:

“Fall Like Rain” by Eric Clapton

“Box of Rain” by The Grateful Dead

“Fool In The Rain” by Led Zeppelin

“Bel Air Rain” by Lindsey Buckingham

“I Can See Clearly Now” by Johnny Nash

“Black Rain” by Soundgarden

“Rainy Day, Dream Away” by Jimi Hendrix

“Standing In The Rain” by Action Bronson & Dan Auerbach

  1. I’m surprised there’s no “Purple Rain”… 🙂 The disappeared-bridge is kind of scary! The first 2 pictures are gorgeous. And I’m done with rain right now… we’ve had a little every day for well over a week… not expected to stop until late Sunday or Monday… (and then it’s going to get too hot for my liking… I cannot win!) 🙂

  3. Funny, I haven’t thought of that in a million, but my mom used to say that,”you’re not sugar or salt” so go out and play. Thanks for the reminder😊
