  4. I think this may be the first time you’ve listed John Mayer. Or maybe not… my memory sucks. LOVE the picture of the kids.

    • Hahaha! I’ve used him before, but not often. I can’t say I’m a huge fan of his, but I like a lot of his stuff. Still can’t quite figure out why The Dead tabbed him to tour with them, but who am I to second guess them. 🙂

  5. I really like the beach shot.

      • Yes, going well and back on track I think! I apologize for running through all your posts at once but I got really behind!

      • Oh Doc, don’t apologize. Life gets in the way at times. Glad the writing is going well. I liked your photo today, by the way. 😃

      • Thank you. Finally playing around with the camera rather than the phone. Went to a photography exhibition at the art museum and got inspired!

      • That’s awesome! Now, get to snappin’! 😃
Let me know if ya’ have any questions about the camera…and enjoy! 😃😃

      • Anytime, my dear. Anytime. I love seeing other peoples shots. I’m that weird guy who actually likes looking at people’s vacation pics! 😃😃

      • I do too! Unless it’s Disney (barf) 😂

      • Hahaha! No doubt! I will never understand the fascination there. They must enjoy being gouged and forced to wait overly long lines for very underwhelming rides. I’ll pass. 😃😃

      • Same here! Forget it!

      • We still haven’t taken the boys to Disney. Am I a bad parent? But you know, in addition to my disdain, the boys never really have mentioned wanting to go. They are much like me, in that if we are within an hours drive west of beautiful sunsets or east to beautiful service, why would we spend a week in Orlando? I know people though, that go every year, and with about 10 or 12 people. I bet you that cost them total over $15,000. Do you know what kind of Beachhouse I could win, for a month, for $15,000?!?! 😳

      • Holy crap!!! I don’t get the fascination with that place. At all. And yeah I could have a whole lot of fun with $15k 😀 And no you’re not a bad parent, especially since the boys don’t have any interest. They have nature’s amusement park to enjoy! 😀

      • That’s how I look at it too. But when I’m old and gray, they’ll be mad at me for never taking them! 😃😃

      • Nah, they won’t. You have done much cooler stuff with them than that. They’re going to be mad at you for making them clean out your attic! Especially the collection of creepy dolls, lol! 😀

      • Ha! Trust me, the only creepy dolls in this house are the ones my evil wife sends me in texts. But you’re right, they’ll cuss us when it’s time to clean this place out. 😃😃

      • Jim Morrison’s head for example. Lol! Hey that reminds me…. is this the year you go to Florence? (Traveling abroad reminded me. I know JM is in Paris)

      • As of the last I heard, the wedding has been postponed. When, or if, the wedding ends up happening is currently up for debate, according to J. It’s her best friend, and the fiancé is Italian. He has a bit of an old-school mindset about women and their “place”, as it turns out. What he doesn’t get is that she’s a strong and independent girl, owns her own home in Seattle, has a terrific job, etc. She doesn’t “need” a man, you know? Not to take care of her, at least. It surprised her, and caused a knock down drag out. She called for a break. I say, good for her. The wedding? Not sure. 😃

      • Oh wow! Well good that she found out now. I wonder how easy it is to overcome entrenched ideas like that? (not easy I think) You should go on a fabulous European getaway anyway… 😀

      • Hahaha! You’re right about that last part! As for the former, I don’t really know. He’s from money and status, family like some 5th generation vintners, yadda yadda. So he’s likely accustomed to getting things his way. She’s not the submissive type though. She’s been single forever, forged her own way, sharp as a tack. Hell, she survived bilateral breast cancer for shits sake! She’s kind of a badass, ya’ know? So she’s not gonna take shit from any dude…even a wealthy Italian one. 😃

      • Good for her! She shouldn’t take shit from anyone. I hope whatever the outcome, she finds happiness!

      • Us too. I’ve not met him yet, but I don’t have the greatest opinion so far. 😏
