Time for this week’s Oddball Photo Challenge from Cee’s Photography.

Here’s my take on it:

Brain sucker?:

Gotta love a good rainbow:

Herd ’em up, Lucy.  But, they do have to get on the bus:

One of the many sloughed skins I find when mowing:

My songs of the day are:

“Skin” by Sade

“Rainbow” by Robert Plant

“Hello, I Love You” by The Doors

“Maggot Brain” by Funkadelic

“I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)” by Dead Weather

“Brain Damage” by Pink Floyd

“Live-In Skin” by Foo Fighters

“Blinded By Rainbows” by The Rolling Stones

  1. I once found some worm casts in the garden but never a snake skin. What an exciting life you lead 🙂

  2. I used to occasionally see snakeskin like that at Mom’s… but never here. I dislike bugs more, but that skin up there was pretty big. I don’t want to meet its former owner.

    • The very next day the boys found one slithering by a tree in the front yard. We all messed with it til it went right up in the tree. We have tons of sloughed skins in our attic. It’s a bit freaky, but we don’t have mice. Frankly, based on having pasture on all 4 sides of us, the mice are a bigger issue. I let the snakes do their thing. Kinda like don’t ask, don’t tell. 😃

  6. Good use of the word ‘slough’. Those great words don’t get the play they used to! HAHAHAHa. Happy FRIDAY! FRINALLY.
