    • Thanks. She just came to us about two years ago. Family that had her was moving and couldn’t take her. We adopted her. She was a Katrina rescue in 2005, so she’s at least 12 years old.

      The funny thing is, we had our own Katrina rescue that we’d adopted back in 2005, 8-9 years old when we got her, and she passed away 3 years ago. Both were in the same batch of roughly 120 animals that our humane society had brought up from New Orleans. Quite the coincidence. 😃
