  2. The vivid blue in the beach photos – wow! I just upgraded my camera. I bought a Sony camera and I’m wondering what you’ve heard about them. It seemed like the best deal for a newbie photographer who doesn’t know what she’s doing! And I can transition from using Autoshoot to doing more complicated stuff as I learn.

    • Thanks so much, Doc. As for the Sony’s, I’m not super familiar with them. The only cameras I’ve used were the Minolta I started with, Nikons, and my Leica medium format. But I’d imagine it’s a good one. Just start playing around with your manual settings and take the same pic with three or four different changes to aperture and shutter speeds. Take a little notepad (or sticky notes 😏) and write each setting down as you take the pic. You’ll get the hang of those once you figure which settings give you the best exposure. Just remember, the smaller the aperture the wider the shutter will open and the brighter it is, the faster your shutter and the darker it is, the slower your shutter. Oh, and have fun! 😃😃

  4. Great color! Btw, I sent you an email about doing a bottlecap Dragon that I’d need for Christmas with two pix attached. Let me know what you think when you have a chance, T, okay?

    • Hey! Yeah, I saw the email. We think we can do the top one. I read the forwarded part, and saw miller lite and Sam Adams. I can do that, but it won’t be red, of course. If they want in reds, I could do budweisers or something of that nature. The top one could be done on a round piece of wood if they’d like that. Let me kniw, and we’ll get started. And yes, the second one would be much easier. If they want both we could do that too.

  5. Journey offers up such great photos, especially in your case.
