This week’s Weekly Weather Photo Challenge from Jennifer Nichole Wells Photography is for the topic:

Here’s my take on it:

Crisp, frosty mornings are the norm in Autumn:

Turning leaves:

The smell of a roaring fire:

Halloween and Fall go together like chocolate and peanut butter:

The dreaded turning back of the clocks…and 5:45p.m. sunsets….means Fall is here, and that my nemesis, Winter, is lurking in the shadows:

My songs of the day are:

“Golden Autumn Day” by Van Morrison

“When You Fall In Love” by Steve Earle

“Autumn Song” by Manic Street Preachers

“Fall Like Rain” by Eric Clapton

“First Air Of Autumn” by Drive-By Truckers

“Falling Slowly” by Glenn Hansard

“Last Leaves Of Autumn” by Beth Orton

“A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” by Bob Dylan

  1. Great shots, especially the last one. It’s not about Autumn, but Golden Brown does sound like it describes the season ha.

  2. Love the lake shot. What great color!
I hate standard time, falling back, whatever that is. It messes me up, moods, attitudes, blahness in the dark.

  5. Oooh the lake is like a mirror. Gorgeous! We had almost no color up north. Too bad because fall is bleh without the fall foliage.
