  1. Cute goofy photos. It’s great to love what you love. I’ve been switching to decaf and have pretty much a blank stare on the song titles. Hmm. You got all ‘my’ locals–Natalie, Todd–maybe I’ll sneak a litle caffeine to get the brains going.

    • Caffeine is good! Nectar of the gods. 😃

      • I agree, but my Tibetan doctor says I need to quit it. I just started taking serious Tibetan medicine again this week, since it addresses those little symptoms of death that the western stuff just doesn’t touch, and yet…CAFFEINE. It’s a major deity of my personal pantheon.

      • Well, we all have our weaknesses. Coffee is certainly one of mine. I’d have to just cheat a little on that one. 😃

      • I frankly do cheat rebustly, especially since it is a bronhcodilator and helps my breathing, but then I get those little choke-to-death doins and my sight fails and all those other signs of death starting. I am so glad I never became a big boozer or druggie, or it’d all be even worse probably. Ironically I still get all the side effects as if someone slipped me major drugs pretty much every day, but at least I don’t have to process the actual substances. That’s a labour-saving thing right there!

  7. Love the family photos! And your beloved beach, of course! I think I told you this before but my friend Marcy is a ringer for your wife’s best friend (or is it your sister in law, I can’t remember)

    • You had mentioned that. She’s her best friend, and she’s the one getting married in June. She’s terrific, and like you, is a crazy aunt. The guy she’s marrying has two young kids and one older one so she’s going from single and kid-free at 50 to wife and step-mom and new country. It’s gotta be a whirlwind for her. 😃

      • Holy mackerel! That’s a world rocking change! And she’s going to live in Italy? Well, you’ll have a place to stay when you visit! How awesome is that?

      • Hahaha! I feel like a turd for thinking that, but yeah, I thought that. Yep. But, I’m not sure what to make of this, but she’s not selling her house in Seattle, even though she’s moving everything to Italy. I want to believe that it’s a wise business choice, for rental income and tax purposes. But, part of wonders if it’s not her contingency plan, ya’ know what I mean? I suppose it’s smart either way, but if she were all-in head-over-heels in love….. I hope I’m wrong, and I haven’t met him yet, so I won’t rush to a judgement. 😏

      • Hmmmm…. curious. Although maybe you’re right about the investment potential. Real estate prices keep rising in Seattle thanks to all the tech companies there. Or maybe she’s thinking once the kids are grown, they can move back?

      • I don’t think he’ll be moving. His family owns a vineyard, and he’s like the 5th generation to run it. If they stay together, she’ll be living in Italy permanently, it would appear. Not sure where her head is at. And I’m not gonna ask. 😃

      • Oh man! Well maybe you’re right and it’s her safety net and she’ll eventually sell the house after some time goes by! Yeah, I wouldn’t ask either!

      • Hahaha! Momma didn’t raise no dummy! Last thing I would do is question her motives. J and I have discussed though, and she wonders the same thing I do. I certainly hope I’m wrong. It’s my opinion that the only time one should get married is when they’re 100% head over heels. Maybe I’m a naive romantic, but it’s supposed to be a very easy decision. If it’s not, or you need a Plan B? Not ideal. 😏

      • I am in complete agreement! But I am kind of a hopeless romantic myself so…. 😀

  8. The goofy pic is adorable. I’ve been clicking though YouTube for the songs you listed, never heard of the Eels, quite addictive. Thanks.
