Time for this weeks Share Your World Challenge from Cee’s Photography.

Here are Cee’s Questions for the week:

If a distant uncle dies and you were always his favorite and leaves you $50,000 (any currency) in his will, what would you do?

Retirement fund!

What sound or sounds do you love?

Summer sounds are my favorites: tree frogs, waves crashing, crickets, thunderclaps, rain on a metal roof, my wife and kids laughing, birds chirping, boat motors, splashing of water.

What’s your middle name? Why?

Charles.  The reason is it’s a family name.  My great grandfather and my grandfather were both named Charles, and my dads middle name is Charles.  We gave our first-born son Charles as a middle name as well.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

It wasn’t a bad week, though it seemed like a long week.  When Friday arrived, I was definitely appreciative of that.

My songs of the day are:

“Sound And Vision” by David Bowie

“Money Trees” by Kendrick Lamar

“You Know My Name” by Chris Cornell

“Sound” by Sylvan Esso

“Money, Money” by The Grateful Dead

“No One Knows My Name” by Gillian Welch

“Sound Of A Broken Heart” by Jukebox The Ghost

“Free Money” by Patti Smith

  3. My son’s middle name is Charles, too. Not that that has any relevance here whatsoever… lol

  4. I’m so ready for summer. Those are some great sounds. I’ve always loved the sound of tree frogs in the south at night. Something I still miss from my Florida chapter.
