Time for this week’s Share Your World from Cee’s Photography.

Here are Cee’s questions for the week

What is your earliest memory?

I’m not sure how old I was exactly, but I’m guessing I was around 3.  I remember an ambulance screaming down our street, headed to a neighbors house.  As it turned out, he had been injured while mowing his lawn, and nearly lost a foot, according to my dad.  I didn’t see anything gory or anything, but the sirens, lights, and commotion certainly made a lasting impression.

Which way does the toilet paper roll go? Over or under?

I’m not overly concerned either way, but if I’m the one replacing the roll, it goes over.

What makes you feel grounded?

My family, my friends, and being on, in, or near water.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Watching these young kids stand up, make their voice heard, and exercising their rights yesterday.  It’s fantastic to see, and I sense another revolution coming.  The inept and incompetent so-called leaders in DC better take notice, and quit disregarding these kids.  They are, or will soon be, registered voters.  They are going to help us send you fools packing soon if you’re not careful.  I, for one, hope that is exactly what happens.

My songs of the day are:

“Good Times Roll” by The Cars

“Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder

“Revolutionize Your Soul” by Susan Tedeschi

“Only A Memory” by The Smithereens

“The Stamping Ground” by Elvis Costello

“The Revolution Starts Now” by Steve Earle

“Bitter Memory” by Lucinda Williams

“Roll, Roll, Roll” by B.B. King

  1. Always enjoy hearing your answers. I was thinking about moving this past week and where I’d want to live (because this winter is stinking!) and I think I’d always need to be near water, too. Ocean preferably, but far enough inland to be safe!

  2. Interesting answers. I miss the water, too. And these teens who are taking a stand are making me so proud of our children!

  3. I liked your enthusiasm towards the young people standing up in support of their cause! I am against automatic assault weapons, too. I am okay with guns in the hands of hunters or family members who practice and know how to be safe in their use and storage.
Happy Spring and if you celebrate, enjoy Easter!! ❤️🤗 🐇🐣💐

    • Thanks. Yes, I’m not in favor of total gun bans, but there is no reason whatsoever for someone to own an assault weapon. None. And there is zero argument otherwise that is legitimate. Period. The NRA and the politicians they’ve bought and paid for should be banned as well.
