Time for this week’s Share Your World Challenge from Cee’s Photography.

Here are Cee’s questions for the week

List things or events that changed your

My parents divorcing when I was 7, college, losing a best friend to suicide, meeting my wife, having kids (one of which is autistic), buying a farm, losing my MIL to a horrific accident.  There are many, many more I could name.  Life is a winding road with blind curves and multiple forks, isn’t it?

Complete this sentence: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it’s…

…a state police chopper looking for pot plants in my back field….that aren’t there.  😏

What genre of music do you like?

All of them…except pop.  I really don’t like pop music.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination

I’m grateful to have gotten the attention of a friend in need.  We are hopeful that us being overbearingly involved in his life will remind him that we are here and watching, and eventually help him turn things around.  Talked or texted with him more this week than we’d done in the last 6 months.

My songs of the day are:

“Pot Kettle Black” by Wilco

“I Can Change” by Lake Street Dive

“Touch Of Grey” by The Grateful Dead

“Pop Singer” by John Mellencamp

“It’s All Going To Pot” by Willie Nelson

“Shakedown Street” by The Grateful Dead

“A Change Is Gonna Come” by Greta Van Fleet

“Pop’s Love Suicide” by Stone Temple Pilots

  3. Learned even more about what makes you who you are. You’ve dealt with a great deal and made a wonderful life for you and your family! Proud to call you my friend, T…

    • Thank you so much, Dee. That’s one of the nicest things anyone’s ever said to me. Yes, I, and we, have been through some stuff. But, so has everyone else too. Perseverance. 😘

  4. I like that sentence completion, too. Hahaha 🙂

I am often forced to listen to pop music (10 year old daughter)… and although I’ve always hated pop, I find that there are a few songs/artists that I can stomach. I wouldn’t seek them out… but I can bear them. I’m a bit horrified to admit that though. Of course, she also loves 21 Pilots and Panic! At The Disco… so she redeems herself somewhat.

  6. Is that why I never see any of Brittany Spears greatest hits in Your song line up? 🤪🤪😂
