  1. I LOVE PELICANS. I refer to them as tanks of the sky. Six of them flew over my office building yesterday and I am pretty sure now everyone in the office knows my feelings about them based on my reaction to seeing them (we only get to see them here on their migrations north).

  3. I can’t recall if I’ve ever seen a pelican in person! Yet that seems impossible. Great shots – they are cool birds!

  4. A couple years ago that huge Polar Vortex forced some Eastern Brown pelicans into our retention ponds. They were huge!
