This week’s Weekly Photo Challenge from The Daily Post is for the topic:

LIQUID

Here’s what the host has to say about it

For this week’s challenge, share a photo of liquid in whatever state, shape, or color you happen to capture it in. You can go as big as the ocean or as small as a teardrop, as clear as vodka or as opaque as milk. Let’s raise a glass to your photos — I can’t wait to dive in.

Here’s my take on it:

Liquid canvas:

Liquid highway:

Liquid mirror:

Liquid barrier:

Liquid playground:

My songs of the day are:

“Wade In The Water” by The Staples Singers

“Looking For Water” by David Bowie

“Nothing But The Water (II)” by Grace Potter & The Nocturnals

“Deeper In The Water” by The Lone Bellow

“What The Water Gave Me” by Florence + The Machine

“I Walk On Water” by Kaleo

“Stars On The Water” by Rodney Crowell

“River Water” by Moon Taxi

  3. Great photos there–I’ve got buckets o’ water songs (ahem) but few that seem placid or shiny like this…hmm. Hmm. Maybe some later, maybe others when the water prompt gets more turbulent–

  4. I’ll settle for Too Much water, by Todd and Utopia, which is the only song I know that quotes Patrick Henry–
