Do I have to reiterate how important it is to vote, especially in this particular mid-term?  Most of y’all know my stance on this administration, and it’s gutless sheep in Congress.  But, I don’t give two shits about whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, or Independent.  Your vote counts.  You are lucky to live somewhere that voting is not just  possible, but an inalienable right.  Do it.

  1. I’m glad I don’t live in the USA because your voting system confuses me so much! I hope that this round of elections gives you a better outcome than what you have now.

    • You and me both. It’s really not that confusing, but we’re used to it. What causes the issue is that A Senator gets a 6 year term if elected but Congressmen get a 2 year term if elected. That means that every two years, someone is up for re-election, regardless if it’s a presidential election year or not. Hence the term mid-term. To me, these are even more vital than the presidential elections. Congress is where the real power lies in our government.

  3. I voted first thing in the morning. It wasn’t a vote, it was a verdict! I had waited two long years to cast this one and it felt good.

  6. I can’t vote because even though I reside here, I am still an alien tbh. 😥

If anyone wants to vote for me here are my votes…

YES TO WEED. Stoners unite. Not really, but we have far more problems to be worried about than putting people in jail for trying to smoke some pot. Not to mention cigarettes are still legal and they kill you. Alcohol is legal you know the argument I am sure. But…Thumbs up to weed.

As a Canadian and Americans needing to be babysat with their guns as they keep geting more crazy I support gun safety. Come at me angry Americans. Most of Americans don’t even know the true amendment, so get off my butt plx.

    Vote yes to fixing roads.

Vote yes for better health care. Again it’s the Canadian coming out. xD

Vote Trump out of office…Wait that is not on the ballad. 😦

That’s all I know that is up for vote by listening to tons of ads and not being educated at all really on Michigan votes because too busy and I am not even allowed to vote so meh. I am however educated enough about the issues on hand tbh.

    • Hahaha! Well, hopefully you get your citizenship soon. I’m in favor of legalizing marijuana. I’m in favor of tougher gun laws and banning these crazy assault weapons, as I see no reason for any citizen to own such things. And, I despise the Trumpster Fire, vehemently, but I don’t want him out yet. Pence is FAR worse. What I hope happens today is that the majority in Congress swings back to the Democrats, effectively preventing dumbass from legislating anything with any teeth and making It a lame duck president, with a rousing defeat coming in 2020 if It decides to run for a second term.

  8. I wish there was a ‘Rest of the World Vote, I would definitely be casting mine and just like Lady Bug it would be a ‘Verdict’. Thinking of you all today 🙂

  9. I can’t vote cause I am Canadian here on permanent resident aka alien tbh. I am not illegal, but not legal enough to vote. 😦 If I stay in the USA for like 6 years though I can go for my citizenship. But I second this…Americans vote. Woot. 🙂

    • I’m sure I didn’t have to remind anyone this time around, but it couldn’t hurt. I am definitely hoping for the best on this one. If not, it’s gonna be long two years. 😡

  15. Days and days later… here I am commenting on this post. Of course I voted. And even though I was wishing for probably an unrealistic outcome, I’m glad the house is blue. I truly believe that the state of this country has been heavily contributing to my general mental health over the last couple of years…
