It was at one time. It’s actually been un-opened since hurricane Michael, over a year ago. Unfortunately. Still hoping someone will take it on. Was a fine dining type restaurant overlooking the water and an inn with rooms overlooking the water. The entire bottom floor flooded with the storm surge, and ruined all 1st floor rooms, dining area, kitchen, and that dock/screened lounging area, all in about 8ft of water.

The River Inn and the restaurant was called Caroline’s On The River. In Apalachicola, FL. Micheal did most of its damage a few miles west of there, primarily at Mexico Beach. Leveled that town. But, Apalach still got the storm surge flooding. It’s low country, and there’s the river to it’s east and is surrounded by Apalachicola Bay. Water rose fast and high.
