Thanks a bunch, Doc. Once we got a bit closer to the pilings they were perched on, they all took off at once. Thought they were gonna knock us out of our kayaks for a sec. Or poop on us. 😏

I think it’s cool when they cruise the coastline in formation, and it’s usually with an odd number of them. 5, 7, 9.

Pelicans are super cool. Literally mere inches above the surf in perfect formation. They’re like the Blue Angels of marine birds. 😃
