This week’s On The Hunt For Joy Photo Challenge from Cee’s Photography is for the topic:
PUT YOUR COLLECTIONS ON DISPLAY
Here’s my take on it:
Can you tell me what OBX is? There is an OBX Creek near my place

It’s a short form for saying Outer Banks. Narrow strips of land, isolated from the mainland by a large sound and the Atlantic Ocean on the other side. Towns like Hatteras, Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Manteo. Stretches from the Virginia/North Carolina line all the way to Hatteras, then includes separate islands from the longer chain called Portsmith island and Ocracoke Island, which is where we vacation. Very cool place. Rugged, weather beaten, natural. Great surfing. 🤙🏻

Thank for that Tony 🙂 It would have nothing to do with here. The story/tale is that a wagon filled with wool bales was coming to the wharf in Grafton and the wagon tipped over as the creek was in minor flood. The wool bales had OBX stenciled on them which had a connection to the farms or stock and station agent who was organising the shipping..
